At least once a year, every employee attends training off-site. Covering developmentally-appropriate topics, such as Behavioral Styles or Case Cracking, programs typically run 1-3 days. In addition to explicit skill building, training off-sites are a critical element in forging tight intra-company friendships.
The full company also dedicates one day or more at least once a year at an off-site location to develop our own business strategy. This time is used to reflect on the successes and challenges of the past year and to plan for the year ahead. Company performance information is shared with everyone. Every employee's views are solicited on issues large and small, from future client development targets to office dress code.
