Learning/Regular On-site Learning | |
Three kinds of learning are conducted formally on-site. These are:
- Skills that particularly benefit from frequent practice
- New training modules developed in response to specific needs
- Learnings that result from managing our own business
Skills Needing Frequent Practice
Some skills are built only through steady repetition. So, for example, Presentation Skills are trained on a periodic and repeated basis throughout the year.
New Modules
Some training modules are developed in response to specific needs -- for example, training on a new subscription research service. This training will be offered in a timely way to all current employees, and subsequently integrated into the formal curriculum for new employees.
Business Management
Finally, there is the learning that comes from meeting on a frequent basis to discuss the running of our own business. All employees gain exposure to important business concerns such as recruiting, business development, and financial control.
