Most of Ms. Case's consulting work has been with companies eager for improved performance in markets where there are only limited apparent growth avenues. Before forming her own company, Ms. Case's multi-decade career in consulting included a substantial role as Partner at Treacy & Company, with Dr. Michael Treacy, the author of The Discipline of Market Leaders. In 1996, Ms.Case established and directed the Industrial & Distribution Practice Area for Treacy & Company. There her work addressed a broad range of industries and of client problems, with an emphasis on defining and delivering superior customer value.

Prior to joining Treacy & Company, Ms. Case spent 12 years at the international management consulting firm Bain & Company. Her clients were generally major multinational firms, in industries ranging from steel to textiles to computer software. While at Bain, Ms. Case was instrumental in forming Bain's Healthcare Practice. She also earned Bain's Bright-Dix award for excellence in training and development. Ms. Case graduated with general and departmental honors from Johns Hopkins University.
